The BSFA Awards are presented annually by the British Science Fiction Association, based on nominations by BSFA members for Best Novel, Best Short Fiction, Best Artwork and Best Non-Fiction. Nominations have opened and can be sent to by BSFA members. The deadline for nominations is midnight , Friday January 16th 2009. Attendees of Eastercon as well as BSFA members are able to vote on the shortlisted nominations and you can join in the discussion at the BSFA forum. The Awards Ceremony
The 2008 award ceremony and presentation will take place at Eastercon LX on Saturday 11th April 2009 and the winners will be announced that very evening before an audience jam-packed with writers, artists and SF enthusiasts, all eager to discover who might have won.
LX will host a fabulous evening around the BSFA awards which will include a reception and a music event.
