Dealers’ Room Waiting List Full

The Dealers’ Room has been full for quite some time and we must now announce that the waiting list is also full. We will not be adding any further names to the waiting list. If you’ve missed out this year then keep an eye on the Odyssey 2010 website and get in early for the next one.

We would also like to point out an error in PR3, the correct address for John Berlyne’s website about Tim Powers is http://www.theworksoftimpowers.com/

Progress Report Three

The third of our Progress Reports has been posted and many have already arrived. If yours doesn’t turn up, please let us know via the contact form. You can also download a simplified version of the PR from the Progress Reports page.

Free Convention Bus Service

As promised as far back as in the LX Bid Presentation, we have put considerable time and effort into finding a viable way of transporting our members between The Cedar Court and the overflow hotels. After contacting over fifty bus hire companies we’re delighted to say that we’ve booked our bus!

We expect to have one bus running on a continuous loop every half hour between the four main hotels (The Cedar Court, Hilton, Midland and Campanile) over the following periods:

Friday - 12:00pm (Midday) to 12:00am (Midnight)
Saturday - 8:30am to 12:30pm and 5:00pm to 12:30am
Sunday - 8:30am to 12:30pm and 5:00pm to 12:30am
Monday - 8:30am to 8:00pm

First thing in the morning and last thing at night we hope to have a second bus running allowing us to move more than 200 people per hour during these peak times. This should mean a maximum waiting time of about 20 minutes and will hopefully avoid anyone missing early programming, assuming they’re awake for it!

There will be a full timetable in our final Progress Report which will be delivered a few weeks prior to the convention.

Progress Report Two

The second of our Progress Reports has been posted and many have already arrived. If yours doesn’t turn up, please let us know via the contact link to the left. Included in this progress report is the hotel booking form - bedrooms in the main hotel are limited so get your forms in as soon as possible and if you’re not already a member, join now!
